Beyond the Barbell – 2026 Update

G’day legends,

We wanted to share a quick update on what’s coming up for Beyond the Barbell as we roll into 2026. There’s a lot to be excited about, and plenty of ways to get involved.

🏋️‍♂️ Train Hard Men’s Club – Launching Saturdays

We’re stoked to announce the beginning of Train Hard Men’s Club, starting:

📅 Saturday 7th February
⏰ 6:30am
📍 Solace Fitness carpark, utilising the oval across the road

This will be an outdoor session focused on training hard alongside good blokes, followed by coffee at Craftworks when it opens at 7:30am ☕️

Train Hard Men’s Club is a global movement built around consistency, effort, and community. You can read more about the philosophy here:

No egos. No fluff. Just showing up and putting the work in.

🧠 Monday Nights – Evolving, Not Ending

Our Monday 6:00pm BTB session will continue, but it will gradually transition into more of an open gym-style format.

This means:

  • No formal structure or programmed session

  • A space for BTB members to come in

  • Throw some tin around

  • Train, chat, and connect with like-minded men

Low pressure. High connection.

📅 Events Across the Year

We’ll also be running events and workouts every couple of months, including:

  • Men’s RetreatFeb 27th to March 1st

  • Beyond the Summit pairs competition fundraiser – April 18th

  • Workout + Movie NightJune

  • Triple B events (Barbells, Beers & Burgers) scattered throughout the year 🍔🍺🏋️‍♂️

These events are about more than fitness — they’re about shared experiences, challenge, and belonging.

🤝 Want to Be More Involved?

Beyond the Barbell only works because people step up.

If you’d like to help out, we’re always looking for:

  • Support with funding opportunities & grants

  • Fundraising and event volunteers

  • Help facilitating sessions or events

And if you’re interested in being more involved in 2026, we’d genuinely love to hear from you. Just reach out for a chat.

Thanks to everyone who continues to show up, support one another, and help make BTB what it is. More to come.

– Mike
